ACA Caring Connections Program
The American Correctional Association is proud to once again offer the ACA Caring Connections Program at the 156th Congress of Correction in Pittsburgh. Grounded in compassion and community, the program supports correctional professionals and their families—particularly those facing extraordinary challenges, including caring for a child with a life-threatening medical condition.

Caring Connections provides selected families with travel, accommodations, meals, and a thoughtfully planned experience, offering moments of relief during difficult times. Fully funded by ACA, the program prioritizes privacy, dignity, and respect, with no requirement for public recognition.

Through this initiative, ACA reaffirms its commitment to the well-being of those who serve, recognizing that compassion and humanity are just as vital as safety and security in the corrections profession.
